Terms of Service

The rules for using Finwo as a customer, merchant, or field agent. Last updated: July 2026.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the Finwo app as a customer, merchant, or field agent, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

2. What Finwo is

Finwo is a UPI QR payment app that lets customers pay verified local merchants, earn cashback for honest reviews tied to a real transaction, and lets merchants accept payments, run offers, and manage their storefront.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate information when you register and keep your login credentials (including MPIN and OTP) confidential. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account. Merchant accounts additionally require successful KYC verification before payments can be accepted.

4. Payments and cashback

Payments made through Finwo are processed by our licensed payment partner. Review cashback is paid out of Finwo’s own commission, never deducted from the merchant’s settlement, and is only available for reviews tied to a completed, verified transaction.

Cashback and wallet balances are not a substitute for a bank account and cannot be used outside the Finwo platform except where we explicitly allow a withdrawal to your linked bank account.

5. Reviews

You may only review a merchant you actually paid through Finwo. Reviews must reflect your genuine experience. Merchants may publicly reply to a review but cannot have it removed except through our moderation process for content that violates these terms (for example, abuse or personal information).

6. Merchant obligations

Merchants agree to honor published offers, keep product and pricing information accurate, and not manipulate reviews or rankings — including by incentivizing reviews outside the platform’s standard cashback mechanism.

7. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to use Finwo for fraudulent transactions, money laundering, fake reviews, or any activity that violates applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Limitation of liability

Finwo provides the platform "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, though nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited under Indian law.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be announced in the app. Questions about these terms can be sent to our registered office in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This is placeholder terms text while Finwo finalizes its legal review.
